Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold - a metaphor for embracing your flaws and imperfections.
While on display this art piece had fallen and suffered A large crack. Kyle Walling however turned to his love for Japanese art and preformed A modified version of Kintsugi to fix the damaged art piece, making it stronger and more beautiful than it was before.
